Vivian Lanham, 92 of Harlan, KY passed away March 8 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Mt. Hope, WV on February 20, 1922.  In 1946 she met and married Corman Lanham and moved to Kentucky where she became an avid Kentucky basketball fan.

Howard, 78 of Harlan, KY passed away Sunday, February 23 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital.  Joel was a retired heavy equipment operator who worked in construction helping to build many of the roads and tunnels in southeast Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Park and Willie Lee Howard.
