Michael Wayne Metcalfe, 58 of Nolansburg passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his home.
Michael was born Oct. 13, 1956 at Harlan, KY to the late James and Janice King Metcalfe. He was a lifelong resident of Harlan Co. and believed in the Baptist faith. He was former owner & operator of Kitchen & Bath Supply.
He is survived by his brothers, James Keith (Alma J.) Metcalfe of Indianapolis, IN, Brutus (Monette) Metcalfe of Flat Lick, KY; sisters, Barbara Jean (Jim) Kelly of Nolansburg, Linda Ann Allen of Knoxville, TN, Mary Frances Estep of Nolansburg, and Rebecca Jane (Richard) Ottinger of Shrewsberry, PA; he leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives to mourn his passing including a very special friend, Dessie “Mom” Smallwood.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm Tuesday (Sept. 1) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Groves and Rev. Randy Clark officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday (Sept. 2) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel, Keith, KY.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Metcalfe, Cory Estep, Donald Kelly, Dalton Kelly, Kermit Kelly, Danny Kelly, Danny K. Smallwood, and Tyrence Clark.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Levi Metcalf, Jace Metcalf, Kaiden Branson, Shea Saunders, and Madison Metcalf.
