Ophie Lewis Crase, 77 of Big Laurel passed away Friday, Aug. 28, 2015 at the Morristown Hamblen Hospital, Morristown, TN.
She was born Feb. 10, 1938 in Leslie Co., KY to the late Dewey and Mellie Lewis. She was retired from NCR in Dayton, OH and believed in the Church of Christ faith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Crase; 1 brother, Berry Lewis; 2 infant sisters.
She is survived by her brothers, Lloyd Lewis of Tazewell, TN, Harrison Lewis of Orlando, FL, Forester Lewis of Loyall, Donald Lewis of Totz, and Paul Lewis of Sydney, OH; she leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Sunday (Aug 30) from 4 until 6:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Pastor James Forrester officiating.
Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Monday (Aug. 31) at the Dewey Lewis Cemetery at Big Laurel, KY.
