Will Daniels

Will Daniels, age 84, of Wallins, KY passed away in the early morning hours of Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his home.
Will was born at Daniels Mountain to the late Roy and Sarah Caldwell Daniel on August 24th, 1938. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and served his country with the U.S. Navy and continued serving with the Kentucky Army National Guard for several years. He earned his living as a coal truck driver where he was known as Yogi Bear. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one grandson Corey Daniels; Brothers, Ed Daniel, Leroy Daniel, and Charles Daniel; Sisters, Sarah Gilliam, Mercedes Chadwick, Molly Daniel, Evelyn Stratton, Delilah Daukas, and Beulah Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Della Curtis Daniels of Wallins; son Will (Claudette) Daniels of Coldiron; daughter Annette (Otis Wayne) Hensley of Fort Payne Alabama; two granddaughters, Amanda Daniels of Coldiron and Sarah Hensley of Fort Payne Alabama; one special great grandson, his little buddy, Corey Reid Daniels, of Coldiron; sisters Virginia Conley, Dora Jane McCarter, Betty Blanton, Barbara Osborne all of Ohio; Linda (Steve) Curtis of Tennessee, Mary Daniel of Tremont, Dorothy (Mike) Shackleford of Wallins; he leaves a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Eli Craig and Rev. Doug Daniel officiating.
Burial will follow in Niday - Seals Cemetery at Wallins, KY with family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Military Rites will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
