Wanda Pennington

Wanda Lee Pennington, 56 of Cawood, passed away February 24, 2022 at her home while surrounded by her family.
She was owner/operator of WBK Coal Trucking Co. and believed in the Baptist faith.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents David Gilbert Sr. and Charlene Kelly Gilbert.
She is survived by her husband Roger "Ra Ra" Pennington of Cawood; her son Bobby (Tarrie Elliott) Pennington of Coxton; daughters Kelly (Fiancée, David Jones) Hoskins of Cranks and Charlea (John) Clem of Cranks; her brothers David Gilbert Jr of Cawood and David Wayne Gilbert of Baxter;  sisters, Kathy (Jude)  Johnson of Elcomb and Emma Faye Osborne of Baxter; she was blessed with her grandchildren, Matthew Pennington, Mason Pennington, Tripp Hensley, Tate Hoskins, Isabella Jones, Easton Clem, and Harlyn Clem; Mother-in-law, Carolyn Pennington of Harlan;  special friends Bill and Brenda Whited, and Karen Mills; special gran Janice Miracle; special cousin Janet Belcher; she leaves a host of other relatives to mourn her passing.
A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm with funeral services following at 7:00 pm on Monday (Feb. 28) in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Clem officiating.
Burial will be 1:00 pm Tuesday (March 1) at the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY. with Rev. Anthony Noe officiating. Grandsons and Nephews will be serving as Pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 pm to go in procession to the cemetery.
