Roger Dale Farley, 64 of Fresh Meadows, KY passed away Tuesday morning of June 21, 2022 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.
Roger was born June 13, 1958 to the late William and Lelia Gooden Farley. A life long resident of Harlan Co, he was a retired truck driver having worked for Spike Construction. He was a Veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He believed in the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi Cloud Farley of Fresh Meadows, KY; his sons, Matthew (Amy) Farley of Bardstown, KY; Joe Farley of North Carolina, Amos (Samantha) Brock of Harlan, Tony Thomas of New York, and Elijah Duignan of Fresh Meadows; his daughters, Amy (Brian) Odom of Harrogate, TN, Naomi Brock of Morristown, TN, Betty Brock of Strawberry Plains, TN, April (Tommy) Hickman of Morgantown, WV; 16 grandchildren; 1 brother, Randy (Sharon) Farley of Corbin, KY; 1 sister, Janice (Steve) Curry of Corbin, KY; special friends, Tony Howard, Ken Rosenbalm, and Ken Mefford; he leaves a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday (June 24) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday (June 25) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Farley Cemetery at Watts Creek, KY. Military Rites will be observed by the Harlan Honor Guard.
