June Farmer

June Lamb Farmer, 89 of Cawood, KY passed away Saturday morning of October 2, 2021 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center after a brief illness.
June was born January 24, 1932 in Cawood to the late John and Bessie Green Lamb. She was a lifelong resident of Cawood and believed in the Church of God faith. She was a total woman of Faith, She loved everyone and was an encourager to all that she came in contact with. She loved church and Worshiping her Lord and Savior in word and in song. Her greatest Joy in life was her family and dear friends. To have known June was to have known a True Christian Lady.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Howard Farmer, Sr.; her brothers, Frank and Charles Lamb.
She is survived by her daughter, Wenda Kay Burkhart; grandchildren, Kristie Carroll (Dennis Mitchell), and Scott (Kelcea) Brock; great grandchildren, Clayton Carroll, Kalee Carroll Harris, Jordan Brock (Mark) and John Brady Brock; great great grandchildren, Alyssa and Bradley Carroll, Rayleigh and Nova Harris; a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Homegoing services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Spencer Burkhart, Rev. Sean Daniels, and Pastor Ronnie Dale Shackleford officiating. Music will be provided by Jason Collins and Ronnie Dale Shackleford. She will be laid to rest in the Fields Cemetery at Cawood, KY. Pallbearers will be Clayton Carroll, Dennis Mitchell, John Brady Brock, Mark Leonard, Michael Carroll, and Robbie Harris.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
