Joyce Peck

Joyce Peck, 72 of Keith, KY passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home.

Joyce was born June 24, 1947 in Harlan, KY to the late Harvey and Pearlie Vance Gooden; Joyce was a former employee of the ARH Clinic in Harlan, and was a retired clerk at Don’s Supersaver in Harlan.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, J.M. Gooden, Kennes Gooden, Dennis Gooden, Harvey Earl Gooden, Gary Gooden, and Tom Gooden; her sister, Lelia Farley.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Sherman Peck of Keith, KY; her sons, Shawn Peck of Keith, KY and Shane Peck of Lexington; grandson, Caleb Peck of Louisville, KY; sisters, Wanda Lear of Daytona Beach, FL, Gail (Lee, Jr) Daniels of Lawnvale, KY; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday (March 14) in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Eldridge, Sr officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gooden Family Cemetery at Keith, KY.

Caleb Peck, Jacob Eldridge, Isaac Eldridge, Jordan Eldridge, Derrick Noe, and Greg Eldridge, Jr will serve as Pallbearers.

Visitation will be after 12:00 pm Saturday (March 14) until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
