John Day

John Day, 80 of Bledsoe, KY passed away on Thursday afternoon of October 21, 2021 at the Harlan ARH.
John was born June 7, 1941 in Bledsoe, KY to the late Abner and Zelphia Huff Day. He was a retired equipment operator with Nally & Haydon.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Ray Day; daughters, Teresa Griffith and Bonnie Lewis.
He is survived by his children, Paul Douglas Brock, Barbara Collett, and Lisa Mosley all of London, KY; sisters, Armilda Belcher of Wallins, KY, Florence Murphy of Lancaster, KY; special grandson, Jacob Howard of Harlan, KY; special sister in law, Chloe Stewart of Putney, KY; he leaves 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday (Oct. 24) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Ford Dillman officiating.
Burial will be 11:00 am Monday in the Napier Cemetery at Bledsoe, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am to go in funeral procession to the cemetery.
The family asked that everyone attending the services please wear a mask for the safety of the family and friends.
