Janice Saylor

Janice R. Saylor, 70 of Baxter, departed from this life to be with our Lord and Savior on July 24th, 2020 at her home. She was a beloved wife, nurturing mother to her children and grandchildren, and caregiver to many during her life. She had a kind and giving spirit to all she knew. Her love of crafting, cooking, being a nana, family get-togethers, and all things Christmas was evident her entire life. Most of all, she loved the Lord, and served Him faithfully. Attending the Church of the Nazarene in Baxter.
Janice was the bookkeeper for the family business (Saylor Mine and Battery) for 32 years.
She is preceded in death by her mother Annie Marie Perkins, grandfather Martin Pacholewski, special Uncle Bill and Aunt Nellie, brothers Junior, and Willie, and sisters Opal and Sue.

She is survived by her husband and first love, Hubert Saylor; children, Laura Caldwell and son-in-law Chris, Pam Saylor, Tonya Burnette, and son-in-law David, and grandchildren Tyler Maas, Prescott Saylor and wife Ashley, and Kyle David (Davey) Burnette III.
She is also survived by brothers Joe Leslie, Mike Pacholewski, and James Perkins; sister Juanita Farmer; as well as a specials cousins, Mary, Barbara, and life long friend Judy Garrett.
She is now rejoicing in heaven at the feet of Jesus in her heavenly body. She will be missed beyond measure, but those who are saved know that this is only temporary.

Funeral services will be held Monday July 27, 2020 In the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral home at 7:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Curry officiating.

Visitation will be held Monday July 27, 2020 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Family and Friends will meet at 11:45 am Tuesday July, 28 2020 for graveside services at Resthaven Cemetery beginning at 12:00 pm.
