Obituary
Freddie Barber Brown, born May 18th of 1934, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday March 9, 2023 in her home in Bledsoe, KY following a long, well-loved life.
Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother is survived by her husband, Percy Edwin Brown, her son Darrell (Rosemary) Brown and her daughter Danese (Jeff) Christmas and daughter in law Debbie Brown. She was blessed to have 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother David Rodman Barber, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her son David Brown, her daughter Donna Gilstrap, her grandson Joe Christmas, parents John R & Melba Barber, siblings Richard Barber, Franklin Barber, Judie Hotkowitz, Beth Pawlowski.
Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Chapel of the Anderson - Laws & Jones Funeral Home 114 S 3rd Street, Harlan Kentucky 40831 wtih Rev. Josh Haywood officiating.
Interment in Bledsoe, Kentucky at the Brown Family Cemetery.
The family will be receiving guests after 1:00 pm. until the funeral hour on March 13, 2023 at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
