Eula Surgener

Eula Surgener, 89 of Wallins, KY formerly of Cranks passed away Tuesday September 29, 2020 at her home.
Eula was born March 24, 1931 in Cawood, KY to the late William and Jane Thomas Mitchell. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family, large family dinners, being a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and spending time in prayer on behalf of those she loved. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church at Baxter, KY.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Noah Surgener; son, Raymond Surgener; brother, Hayward Mitchell; sisters, Daisy Nichols, Hazel Smiddy, Viola Collins, Nola Davidson, and Betty Clem.
She is survived by her children, Jan (Ernest) Owens of Milton, KY, Lonnie (Vickie) Surgener of Gibson Station, VA, Roger Surgener of Cranks, and Janie (Rick) Torstrick of Wallins, KY; she leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Thursday (Oct. 1) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday (Oct. 2) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Mills officiating.
Burial will follow in the Surgener's Amazing Grace Cemetery in Cranks, KY with her Grandsons serving as Pallbeaerers.
