Drucilla Swanson

Drucilla  Barrettt Swanson, 82 of Cawood, Kentucky  went to be with The Lord on February 3, 2020 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital.  She believed in the holiness faith and was a member of the Cawood Church of God Mountain Assembly.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and friend to all.

She was born on March 15, 1937 to George Barrett and Kizzie Bray Barrett in London Kentucky.

Drucilla was preceded in death by her parents; father George Barrett and mother Kizzie Barrett. Her husband; Ronald Swanson, son James Eugene Swanson and two infant daughters.

She is survived by four sons; Ronald (Lois) Swanson, Buck Wayne Swanson, John Russell (Judy) Swanson, and Paul Douglas Swanson.  Two daughters Peggy Swanson and Drucilla Diana (Tim) Ball as well as a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Feb. 07) at 7:00 pm in the Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brent Lively officiating.

Friends and Family will meet at Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home by 11:30am Saturday (Feb. 8) to go in procession to Resthaven Cemetery for 12:00pm graveside service. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

The family will greet friends at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home for visitation services on Friday (Feb. 7), from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm funeral hour.
