Denny Ray Middleton, Sr., 64 of Cranks, KY went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Denny was born March 29, 1956 in Harlan to the late Walter and Vera Powell Middleton. He was a retired coal miner with 37 years of service. He believed in the Pentecostal faith and was a member of the Faith Holiness Church of Smith. When he was able to he enjoyed fishing, ginseng, and camping out in the mountains.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph, James, and Gede Middleton; sisters, Wilma and Geneva; son in law, John Doran Fields.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Diane Jones Middleton of Cranks; son, Denny Ray Middleton, Jr of Cranks, daughter, DeAnna Lynn Fields (James Mudd) of Louisville, KY; brothers, Paul (Sheila) Middleton of Farmers Mill, KY, Wendell (Karen) Middleton of Smith, KY, Darrell (Mary Lynn) Middleton of Cawood, KY, Glen (Marie) Middleton of Morraine, OH; sisters, Lynda Kay Oda of Belle, WV., Orphia Haynes of Vandalia, OH., and Emma (Bill) Anderkin of Morraine, OH.; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a very special friend, George Ledford of Cawood, KY.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Saturday (Jan. 9) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Graveside services will follow at 1:30 pm Saturday (Jan. 9) at the Napier Cemetery at Cranks, KY. with Rev. Spencer Burkhart officiating.
Pallbearers will be George Ledford, Jr, Kenny Ledford, Brady Taylor, Hunter Burkhart, Paul Middleton, and Todd Middleton.
Covid-19 Restrictions of 50% of our capacity, face masks, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed.
