Daniel Lee Southard

Daniel Lee Southard, 65 of Harlan passed away Thursday afternoon of November 14, 2019.

Daniel was born March 26, 1954 in Harlan to the late John Henry and Opal Dean Southard. He was a general laborer and believed in the Holiness Faith.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Harry Southard and Jimmy Stapleton; sisters, Cathy Dethridge and Mary Howard.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Daniels Southard; daughters, Flora Mae Bright (Nick Sandford) and Diana Middleton; grandchildren, John Eldridge, Tiffany Eldridge, Amber Smith, Jacob and Matthew Middleton, Gracelynn and Lillee Bruce; 1 great grandchild, Madison and 1 on the way; 1 brother, Harrison (Barb) Southard; 1 sister, Betty (Sonny) Mitchell; he leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be Monday (Nov. 18) from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm on Monday (Nov. 18) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Daniel and Rev. Pete Ashby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Tway Cemetery, at Tway, KY..
