Charlene Marlin

Charlene Marlin, 86 of Keith, KY passed away on Monday December 28, 2020 at the Harlan ARH.
Charlene was born August 8, 1934 in Harlan to the late Charlie and Frances Yount Marlin. She was a Registered Nurse having worked at Harlan ARH before moving to Stone Mountain, GA area working in the Gywinnett Co. area Hospitals. She then moved to Lexington, Ky before coming back home to Harlan in 1992 where she finished her career doing Insurance Physicals. She enjoyed reading anything connected to the medical field, animals, cooking and her greatest love was her grandchildren. In 1952 she was baptized at the Liggett Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Wesley Marlin; sisters, Elaine Marlin, Margaret Jones, Carolyn Fields.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky (Garry) Cox; her beloved grandchildren, Garry Kristopher (Victoria) Cox, and Kelly Elizabeth (Logan) Casolari; great granddaughter, Kenna June Casolari; her sister, Cindy (Rodney) Mott; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including two special friends, Shelia Enlow and Sandy Kinner.
In keeping with Charlene's wishes there will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to the Harlan Co. Friends of the Shelter, C/O Sue Estep, PO Box 1004, Loyall, KY 40854, in memory of Charlene.
