Boyd Robert "Bobby" Brown

Boyd Robert "Bobby" Brown, 49 of Harlan passed away on Monday July 12, 2021 at his home.
Bobby was born May 8, 1972 in Jacksonville, FL to Martha Poole Brown and the late T. Boyd Brown. He was a 1990 graduate of Harlan High School where he served as class president his senior year. He believed in the Baptist faith and had attended Teetersville Baptist Church with his mother. He had been a member of the Harlan Masonic Lodge 879 F & AM.
Besides his father he was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mellie Brown and Thelma Baird, and his grandfather, Ted Brown.                                                                                                                                                      Survivors include his loving mother, Martha of Harlan; his beloved daughter, Meredith Brown of Lexington, Ky; mother of his daughter, Racheal Wilhoit Parsons. Bobby had a contagious smile and never met a stranger, he will always be remembered for his love and laughter, and his great love for the outdoors. He will be greatly missed from the shores of Florida to the mountains of Kentucky.
Visitation will be 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Friday (July 16) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Paul White officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Janice Lawson.
Private burial will be held at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY where he will be laid to rest beside of his beloved Father.
