Bobby (B-bob) Dewayne Grubbs 46, passed away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon of May 11th, 2022 at his home in Wallins, KY surrounded by his loving family.
Bobby was born October 8, 1975 in Harlan Co. KY. He worked for over 20 years for Doss Fuelco Inc. where he loved his job and work family. He was an excellent Father, Son, and Husband who was known for his hard working work ethics and spending time with his family. He enjoyed travel and cruises and always had a smile for everyone.
Preceded in death by: Grandfather, Elzo Hornsby of Baxter and Huey P. Long of Wallins.
Bobby is survived by his beloved parents, Debra Hornsby Long (Huey) of Wallins and Bobby Grubbs of Baxter. Wife, Lora Grubbs. Son, Lane Grubbs whom he adored. Step Daughter, Allie Caldwell of Lexington and Stepson, Ethan Caldwell of Knoxville and his brother Tyler Grubbs of Kentucky. Step Brother, William Long of Indiana. Step Sister, Nicole Hensley of Texas. Grandmothers, Shirley Hornsby of Elcomb. Juanita Pennington of Sunshine. Fannie Long of Wallins. Bobby was loved by many of his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews, and a very special friend and neighbor Michael Hensley (Chelsea) along with his special little truck buddy Maverick Ball.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday (May 15) at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan KY. 40831.
Funeral services will follow 7:00 p.m. Sunday (May 15) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Hargus Cornett officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Monday (May 16) at the Resthaven Cemetery 3000 State Highway 840, Baxter, KY 40806 with Stephen King, Zachary Hornsby, Doug White, Jamie Johnson, Austin Miller, and David Shepherd serving as Pallbearers.
Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 am Monday to go in procession to the cemetery.
