Bobby Gene Williams, 65 of Jones Creek passed away Monday morning of April 13, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness.
Bob was born March 16, 1955 in Harlan, KY to the late Andrew Jackson and Jean Williams. He was a Disabled Veteran having served his country honorably during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Marine Corp. While serving he received several awards for his service.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Allen; his sister, Martha.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Brock Williams of the home; children, Andrew (Ashley) Williams of Richmond, KY and Kaitlyn "Katie" Williams of Berea, KY special niece, Chelsea Brock; 3 sisters, Belinda (George) Osterweil, Karen (Bob) Hitt all of Florida, Debbie (Robert) Crosley of Arkansas; 1 brother, Timothy Niloff of Florida; he leaves behind a special friend, Mabel Coker; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Due to Governor Andy Beshear's Executive Order, given on March 17, 2020, and based on CDC recommendations to decrease the spread of COVID-19, all services for Bobby Gene Williams will be private.
Once restrictions on public gatherings has been lifted a public memorial service will be held at a later date.
