Anna Sue Boggs

Anna Sue Boggs, 83 of Sunshine passed away Friday morning of February 19, 2021 at the Harlan ARH.
Anna Sue was born May 13, 1937 to the late James Charles and Abbiegal Middleton Mitchell in Tway, KY. She had lived most of her life in Harlan Co and was a member of the Elcomb Baptist Church. She was a 1956 graduate of Harlan High School, was a devoted Sunday School Teacher and GA's leader. She was an avid gardener and loved doing crafts.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Rev. Ernest Boggs; her grandson, Jonathan Felosi; brothers, Thomas, Walter, Oscar, and Jimmy Mitchell; sisters, Chloe Swain, Imogene Burns, Ailean Wynn, Myrtle Wilson, Margie Smithwick, Jenny Nichols, Edith Engle.
She is survived by her loving children, Brenda (Danny) Felosi, Ernie (Linda) Boggs, Joy (Caleb) Holland, and Linda (Kurt) Howard; grandchildren, Jason Felosi, Nathan (Ashley) Felosi, Tara (Chris) Jones, Kelly (Sean) Boggs Daniels, Emily (Brodie) Simmons, Heather (Matthew) Capua, Nicholas (Destiny) Boggs, Samuel Howard, and Jacob Howard; 13 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Johnny Mitchell; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, including a special niece and nephew, Charles and Debbie Hubbard, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Monday (Feb. 22) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Williams and Rev. Bob Cornett officiating. Music will be provided by Gary Lewis and Lisa Adkisson. ( Services will be recorded and added to her obituary at www.aljfh.com)
Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday at the Resthaven Cemetery, Keith, KY with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating with Grandsons serving as Pallbearers. Family and Friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 11:30 am to go in procession to the cemetery.
Covid-19 Restrictions of 50% of funeral home capacity, face masks, and social distancing all set by the Governor of Kentucky shall be followed.
