Adrian "Abe" Fields, Ii

Adrian "Abe" G. Fields, II, 55 of Harlan entered Heaven on Monday June 14, 2021 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY following a courageous battle with cancer.
Abe was born October 23, 1965 in Harlan, KY to Adrian and Arizona Fields. He worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church of Cawood. Abe was well known in the county and surrounding areas for refereeing, baseball/softball umpire, and a basketball coach at James A. Cawood Elementary School. He had a love for all sports, especially any involving his children, he enjoyed golfing, playing softball and was known for his love of the Tennessee Volunteers.
He is preceded in death by his father, Adrian "Big Abe" Fields, I; sister, Connie Fields; his grandparents, Boyd and Helen Sowders.
He is survived by his mother, Arizona "Rabbit" Fields; wife Jessica Hubbard Fields; children, Abbigail Fields, Adrian "Brother" Fields, Carson,  and AJ Day; his mother in law, Tina Hubbard; father in law, David Johnson; cousins, Joyce Hoskins and Jamie "Bingo" Slusher; he leaves a host of other relatives and many many friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held Saturday June 26, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Harlan Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 pm at the Harlan Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Daniels officiating. Music will be provided by Seth Carmical.
The service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/Anderson-Laws-Jones-Funeral-Home-101636909998060. Those wishing to attend the services, the family has asked everyone to show their support by wearing University of Tennessee Vols orange colors. (Abe's favorite team)
Honorary pallbearers will be the officials who have refereed with him over the years and are asked to wear their uniform to the service.
