Obituary

William Terry “Tubby” or “Fuzz” Caldwell age 72 of Bledsoe, KY went home to his Lord and savior on Sunday, October 25th. Terry was truly a gift from God, born on Christmas Day, December 25th, 1953 at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY.

He was an avid dog lover, hunter, and fisherman. He always looked forward to going deer hunting at Land Between the Lakes every year. Tubby was known for loving to feed the bears up on his job site and everyone who knew him loved to hear that laugh of his. He was always quite the jokester. When not outdoors, Tubby spent his time watching UK sports and old westerns. He was a fuel man at Nally and Hamilton Enterprises for 23 years then drove a gravel truck for Helton Construction. Later in life, Tubby resided at Harlan Rehabilitation Center for the past 3 years where he was known and loved by everyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Fern (Woods) Caldwell; Brother Gary Dean Caldwell and his wife Patricia “Patty” Caldwell (Fox); daughter Lea Nicole Smith; nephew Fred Scott Caldwell and niece Julia Lynn Robinson (Caldwell) and his beloved dogs Kelly, Shelly, and Otis.

He leaves behind many loved ones: His wife of 34 years Mae ”Sis” Caldwell; sister Sherri Lynn Davis (Caldwell); niece and namesake Teri Michelle Kelley (Davis); great nephews and nieces: Alex Caldwell, Bradley Caldwell, Noah Kelley, Jade Kelley, and Kaya Kelley; daughter Kelly Isaacs (Thornburg) and his beloved dogs Dixie and Daisy as well as a whole slew of cousins he grew up with and was close to.

Graveside services will be on Thursday October 29 at 3:00 pm at Phillips Fork Cemetery in Leslie Co, Ky.
