Wanda Rowland

Wanda Louise Rowland, 79 of Harlan passed away Thursday May 23, 2013 at the Whitesburg ARH.
Wanda was born September 15, 1933 in Wallins, KY to the late William JH and Minnie Belle Collins Rowland. She had resided all of her life in the Harlan and Evarts area. She had worked for the Cloverfork Clinic and was a retired bus driver for the Verda Headstart for many years. She was a member of Verda First Baptist Church.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Hubert and Joe Rowland; 2 sisters, Ruby Marie Lewis and Beatrice Dizney.
She is survived by her beloved sister, Mary Ruth (Bill) Mayfield of Cincinnati, OH; and their son Michael (Debbie) Mayfield of Cincinnati, OH; she leaves several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Tuesday May 28, 2013 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.
Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery at Rosspoint.
