Vickie L. Vick, 66 of Dayhoit, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Pineville, KY. Born February 7, 1951 in Harlan she was the daughter of the late Tyler and Birdie Fee Collins. She was a former clerk at Don’s Super Saver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Freddie Buchanon and Pauline Robinson; brothers, Walter Sergent and Randy Collins; and father of her children, Danny Dale Brown.
Surviving are her sons, Tony Brown of Arkansas and Danny (Shelly) Brown of Dayhoit; grandchildren, Logan Brown, Morgan Brown, Amber Brown, Tyler Brown, and Daniel Brown; great-grandson, Carson Halcomb; brothers, Bill Collins and Theo Collins; and sisters, Judy Brock and Charlene Short. Special friends, Ronald Hamilton and Jerri Hobbs Several nieces, nephews and other relatives will also mourn her passing.
Visitation will be held Friday (Oct. 20) 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday (Oct. 21) at the Evarts Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested toward the funeral expense.
