Timmy Joe Napier, 64 of Newport, TN formerly of Evarts, KY passed away Wednesday afternoon of November 4, 2026 at the Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, KY.

Timmy was born August 14, 1962 in Harlan, KY to the late Joe Napier and Elizabeth Hatfield Blevins. He was employed as a factory worker for many years. He loved fishing, spending time at the lake with being with his family. He enjoyed collecting guns and was a avid University of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball fan. He believed in the Christian Faith.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by step father, Burley Blevins; step mother, Wilma Napier; brother in law, Brandon Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Peggy Turner Napier; children, Tiffany Turner and Timmy Joe Napier, Jr and wife Taylor; grandchildren, Autumn Shultz, Jade Maddry, Ellie Smith, Leona Napier and Turner Brackins; his siblings, Terry Napier and wife Mary, Tommy Napier, Pamela Sturgill and Rebecca Tietgens and husband Brett; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be Sunday (Nov. 8) from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.

Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Danny McCreary officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens at Verda, KY.
