Thomas Owens

Thomas L. Owens, 68 of Harlan passed away Wednesday morning of August 1, 2018 at the Hazard ARH following a brief illness.

Mr. Owens was born Dec. 17, 1949 to the late Laymon and Helen Bennett Owens. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Owens; brother, James G. Owens and brother in law, Nicholas Cornett.

He is survived by his siblings, Jerry (Ina) Owens, Norma Cornett, Ronnie (Donna) Owens, and Mary (Garnett) Howard; step son, Christopher (Pauline) Noe, step grandchildren, Madison, Landon, and Peyton Noe; he leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday (Aug. 4) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Hensley-Sergent Cemetery at Rosspoint, KY.
