Theodore L. Crabtree

Theodore Lamen "T.L." Crabtree, III 78 of Wallins, KY passed away Thursday evening of October 30, 2025 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, KY.

T.L. was born February 4, 1947 in Dewitt, Arkansas to the late Theodore Lamen Crabtree, II and Mary Jane Harmon Crabtree. He was a retired Coal Miner with over 32 years of service. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet E. Crabtree; his daughter, Katie Crabtree; brother, Bobby Thad Crabtree; sisters, Callie Fetzer and Ann Braun; his in laws, Ken and Olive Brock.

He is survived by his daughter, Kenni (Tuck) Griffin of Pathfork; grandchildren, Cody (Courtney) Griffin, MacKenzie (McClain) Griffin, Lane (Natalee) Jones, Matthew Jones and Alex Smith; 4 great grandchildren, Copelynn, Corman and Coleston Griffin, Britton Lee Tate Jones; brothers, Charles (Sylvia) Crabtree of Florida and Donald Crabtree of Texas; sister in laws, Louisa F. (BohDon) Tkachenko and Margaret (Mike) Braman; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with his wishes a private burial will be held at the Park Howard Cemetery in Wallins, KY.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are suggested to the Harlan Co. Humane Society, 420 Tway Hollow Road, Harlan, KY 40831.
