Shirley McKeehan

   Shirley Ann McKeehan, 82 of Harlan, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at the Harlan Health and Rehabilitation Center.

   Shirley was born on October 15, 1942 in Cranks, Kentucky to the late Jim and Bessie Boles. She was lifelong resident of Harlan, Kentucky and attended the Grays Knob Bible Church. She worked at Ackley's Cafe and Denny Ray Drive-In for many years. Shirley was a caregiver to her family and friends.

   Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bill McKeehan, her step-son, David McKeehan, brothers; Tom, Paul, James, and Chester Boles, sisters; Erma, Irene, Peggy, and Ruby (Victor) Howard, and nieces; Christine Johnson and Helen Bennett.

   She is survived by her sister, Shelby Jean (Mike) Melanson of Dayton, Ohio, grandson, Rusty Murphy of Molus, Kentucky, nieces; Joanna Patterson and Elizabeth Haynes, nephew, Victor (Rachel) Howard, and a special friend, Lisa Newsome. She also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.

   Visitation will be Saturday (Nov. 23) from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

   Funeral Services will follow on Saturday (Nov. 23) at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Franklin Stewart officiating.

   Burial will follow the funeral service on Saturday (Nov. 23) at the Howard Cemetery in Cranks, Kentucky.
