Shirley Allen Landa, 74 of Harlan passed away suddenly Monday morning of February 13, 2023.
Shirley was born on June 2, 1948 in Harlan to the late James and Cora Allen. She was a faithful member of the Cawood Pentecostal Holiness Church, she devoted all her time to the Lord, her family, and church. She enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Roy, Hubert, Curt, Jimmy and Leon Allen; her sisters, Irene Hubbs, Ruby Allen, Thelma Gross, and Carol Clem.
She is survived by her beloved children, Rachel (Christopher) Wombles, Freeman (Angela) Crosby, Tonya (Ford) Dillman, Jenny (Cory) Huth and Juan (Natasha) Landa; her grandchildren,
Devin (She-ra) Bennett, Justin (Victoria) Gross, Morgan (Ethan) Estep, Brandi (Josh) Lemar, Dekota (Bryanna) Wombles, Andrea Crosby, Haillee Rocha, Dennis Huth, Ricky Thornton Jr., Raegan Landa, Sierra Huth, & Maddox and River Landa; Her great grandchildren, Aubrey Bennett, Willow Gross, Makenzie Bennett, Madalyn Bennett, Devin Bennett, Tucker Hensley, Paislee Hensley, Eli Adkins, Tucker Lemar, Evander Lemar and Wyatt Estep; Her sisters, Mary (Frank) Pennington, Dorothy (Tim) Skidmore; brother, Chris (Jennifer) Allen; and special friend, Bobbie Bowling. Shirley also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and church family that mourn her passing.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday (Feb. 15) at the Cawood Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Church services to follow at 7:00 pm at the Church with Rev. Jerry Collins and Rev. Charlie Napier officiating.
Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Thursday (Feb. 16) at the Allen Cemetery in Cranks, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
