Ruby Bryant, 93 of Harlan, KY passed away suddenly, on Thursday morning February 26, 2026, at the Harlan ARH.

Ruby was born September 3, 1932 in Harlan County to her parents the late Campbell Dixon and Roxie Barrett Dixon. She was employed at James A. Cawood High School, as a cafeteria worker for several years. She was a member of the Pansy Baptist Church.

Besides her husband she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Linville Bryant; four brothers, Claude, Jack, Howard and Joe Dixon; her only son, Gary Bryant.

She is survived by her children, Kathy (Harrison) Downs of Harlan, Sharon Kaye (Tim) Jenkinson of Michigan, Barbara (Bobby Joe) Rouse of Harlan, Linda Knyshev of Virginia, Jeane (Billy) of North Carolina; she leaves 9 grandchildren, Trishia, Jena, Eric, Jordan, Gary Jr, Rachel, Leslie, Jeff, Brandon; 10 great great, along with a host of other relatives to mourn her passing.

Graveside services will be 12:00 pm Tuesday March 3, 2026 at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Mike Tye and her nephew Bobbie Dixon officiating. She will then be laid to rest beside of her beloved husband, Linville in the Resthaven Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
