Roger Dale Soublo

Roger Dale Soublo, 66 of Baxter, KY passed away on Thursday morning of April 10, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Dale was born May 20, 1958 in Harlan, KY to the late Lloyd Michael and Eula Mae Ashe Soublo. He was a lifelong resident of Harlan Co. and believed in the Baptist faith. He was retired HVAC worker having worked for Harlan Heating & Cooling and Central Kentucky Sheet Metal. He was an avid UK Wildcat fan, enjoyed doing carpentry work, cooking and being with family.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, David Lee Soublo.

He is survived by the love of his life of 27 years, Sheila Garrett of Baxter; son, Dennis (Sabrina) Garrett of Nolansburg; 2 grandchildren, Lainey and Mason Garrett of Nolansburg; his siblings, Lloyd Michael (Amnoy) Soublo of Kernnerville, NC, William Oscar (Mabel) Soublo of Abingdon, VA, Terry Lynn Soublo of Harlan, Julia (Julie) Ann Soublo of Baxter and Danny (Lisa) Soublo of Cawood; sister in laws, Sherry Patterson of Cleveland, TN and Pam Hostuttler of Putney; brother in law, Allen Thomas of Oneida, TN; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Sunday (April 13) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 4:00 pm on Sunday (April 13) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Charlon Brafford officiating.

Burial will be 1:00 pm on Monday (April 14) at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with Brandon Soublo, Shawn Ward, Matt Caudill, Needham Saylor, Josh Caudill and Allen Caudill serving as Pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:20 pm to go in procession to the cemetery.

The family wants to give a special thanks Bluegrass Care Navigators, especially Jim Garrett for all of the love, care and concern given to Dale.
