Roger "Runt" Lee Pace, Jr

Roger "Runt" Lee Pace, Jr 48 of Grays Knob, KY passed away Sunday afternoon of June 29, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center following a battle with Huntington's Disease.

Runt was born March 17, 1977 in Harlan to the late Roger, Sr and Debbie Smith Pace. He worked as a Preparation Plant worker in the coal business for years.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elbert and Mallie Pace and Leroy, Sr and Josie Smith; brother Michael "Hoss" Pace who preceded him on May 28, 2025; uncles, Leroy Smith, Jr, Gary Smith and Arnold Elbert Pace; aunts, Yvonne "Crick" Smith Bowman and Jewell Short.

He is survived by his sister, Kimberly Pace and his nephews, Gunner, Ryder and Tucker; He leaves a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, two special cousins who was like brothers to him, Mark Pace and Jeremy Smith, a host of friends and other family. The family would like to give a special heartfelt thank you to Runts uncle, Rev. Johnny Ray (Debbie) Smith for all of the care and support he always gives to the entire family.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday (July 2) at the Grays Knob Pentecostal Church of God.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Church with Rev. Johnny Smith officiating.

Burial will be 3:00 pm Thursday at the Grays Knob Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
