Roger Dale Bray, 64 of Cranks, KY went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, KY.
Roger was born March 31, 1956 in Harlan to the late Rostin and Hazel Bray. He was a retired coal miner with 40 years of service and believed in the Baptist faith. He had life long love affair with hot rods and race tracks. He enjoyed being in nature and doing anything with his grandsons.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by brother, Rostin Bray, Jr; infant sister, Cathy Bray.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rebecca Bray of Cranks; daughter Amanda Bray (Varian Haley) of Catrons Creek; sister, Linda (Tommy) Hensley of Cawood; grandsons, Brayden and Landen Collett; he leaves a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend, Tony Simpson of Cranks, KY.
Visitation will be 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday (Jan. 10) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
In keeping with Roger's wishes there will be no other services.
The family would like to thank hospice for all of their care and support. We would also like to thank a special nurse, Alli Simpson, for all the loving care she provided.
