Rebecca Renick

   Rebecca Carol Renick, 67 of Rio Vista, KY passed away suddenly on Sunday evening of May 21, 2023 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center.
   Becky was born February 9, 1956 in Hinton, WV to the late Jack W. and Sadie Carol Farley Webb. She had worked in Hospitality within the Hotel industry for several years. While living in Lexington she met the love of her life "Dink" and moved to Harlan Co. 6 years ago. She became a very active member of the Harlan United Methodist Church and the Wednesday night Prayer Warriors. She became the senior assistant manager at Hibbett Sports Store in Harlan.
   She leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life, E. Denver "Dink" Pollitte of Rio Vista; her children, Dr. Mark (Chrissy) Hackney of Bridgeport, WV and Chad (Tina) Hackney of Charleston, WV; her brother, David (Donetta) Webb of Ravenswood, WV; sisters, Anna Webb of Ravenswood, WV and Crystal (Bill) Dudding of Chesapeake, OH; 7 grandchildren, Noah, Tyler, Chase, Evan, Ava, Owen and Rias; she leaves a host of other relatives, friends, and her church family to mourn her passing.
   Visitation will be after5:00 pm Saturday (May 27) until the funeral hour at the Harlan United Methodist Church, 201 E. Mound Street, Harlan, KY 40831.
   Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm at the Church with Rev. David Gross officiating.
   Burial will be 2:30 pm Sunday (May 28) at the Olivet Methodist Church Cemetery in Mayesville, KY. Everyone is asked to meet at the Church by 2:00 pm.
   Pallbearers will be Casey Pollitte, Domenick Hildebrand, Tyler Hackney, Mark Miracle, Steve Miracle, Bill Dudding, Zach Hensley and Adam Boggs. Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of the Harlan United Methodist Church.
   Flowers are welcomed, but the family aske memorials be made to Ann's Pantry Foodbank or to the Harlan United Methodist Wheelchair lift Fund, Memorials for both may be mailed to PO Box 261, Harlan, KY 40831.
