Phil Caudill

Phil Caudill, 53 of Closplint, Kentucky passed away on February 13, 2024 at St. Joesph Hospital in London, Kentucky. 

Phil was born March 28, 1970 in Harlan, Kentucky to the late Jim and Ruby Comer Caudill. Phil was a lifelong resident of Harlan County, Kentucky and believed in the Baptist faith. He worked in the coal mines for 20 year. He enjoyed working on vehicles, being in his garage, and being with his grandkids. 

Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers; Bert and Lonzo Caudill; niece, Dana Stanton.

He is survived by his wife; Sonya Parker, his children; Brooke (Amy) Parker of Corbin, Kentucky, Derek (Sara) Parker of Verda, Kentucky, Regina (Matt) Brackett of Putney, Kentucky, and Johnnie (Selena) Parker of Evarts, Kentucky, his grandchildren; Dawson, Maci, Cooper, Easton, Stryker, Chase, and Payton, his brothers; Gary Caudill of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, Bill Caudill of Evarts, Kentucky, Jimmy Caudill of Evarts, Kentucky, and Wilburn (Ann) Caudill of Holmes Mill, Kentucky, his sisters; Gloria Caudill of Mt. Vermon, Kentucky, Betsy Wallace of Wallins, Kentucky, and Freda Billenbeck of Grand Rapids, MI; and a special friend; Arnold Gilbert. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Stacy Stanton to mourn his passing. 

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Friday (Feb. 16) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
