Peggy Ann Bruce

Peggy Ann Bruce, 84 of Dayhoit passed away on the early morning of February 14, 2022 at her home.
Peggy was born November 7, 1937 in Coxton, KY to the late Richard and Hazel Shackleford Nunn. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and making afghans. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She believed in the Christian Faith.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Nunn.
She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ernest Bruce of Dayhoit; her daughters, Valerie (Charles Cupp) Bruce of Wise, VA and Regina Bruce of Catrons Creek; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives to mourn her passing.
Per her wishes a simple Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday (Feb. 15) at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Nick Noe officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY                                                                                     Memorials are suggested to the Harlan Co. Friends of the Shelter, 394-State Highway 840 Baxter, KY 40806, https://www.hcfos.org/  in memory of Peggy Ann.
