Pauline Hensley

Pauline C. Hensley, 84, of Rosspoint, Harlan County, Kentucky died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Hospital. Born January 19, 1933 in Whitesburg, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Columbus and Elizabeth Baker Cornett. She was a retired LPN from the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital having also worked at the Knox County Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of the Harlan Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Steven Hensley and a brother, Astor Cornett.
Surviving are her son, Robert T. Hensley of Rosspoint; brothers, Estill Cornett of Washington, Ellis Cornett of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Ray Cornett of Grassy Branch, Kentucky, and Raymond Cornett of Columbus, IN; and sisters, Irene McKendrick of Louisville, KY, Clara C. Ison of Cumberland, KY, and Essie Dean of Goshen, OH.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 11:00 – 1:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM also in the chapel of Anderson-Laws and Jones Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Cornett will officiate the services.
Interment will follow the funeral in the Wilder Cemetery at Rosspoint. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.
