Rio Vista-Mary Lou Coldiron, 75 of Rio Vista passed away Saturday March 14, 2015 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN.
A lifelong resident of Harlan, KY she was born September 7, 1939 to the late Harold and Reba Truitt Hurst. She was a member of the Harlan Christian Church and best known for being a devoted wife, mother, and Nana to her family.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coldiron; daughter, Janet Wright; grandson, Bradley Stephen Wright.
She is survived by her 2 children, Jackie (Jerry) Clark of Rio Vista and Jimmy Coldiron of Pigeon Forge, TN; grandchildren, Jonathan (Tiffany) Leger of Richmond, IN, Kristen (Trenton) Begley of Harlan, Ryan Clark of Rio Vista; 2 great grandchildren, Madyson Renee Leger and Camden Trent Begley; 1 sister, Rebecca Pittman of Danville, KY; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Wednesday (March 18) from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Burnette officiating.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday (March 19) at the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY. Pallbearers will be Dan Freeman, Danny Perkins, Ryan Clark, Jonathan Leger, Jim Arvin, Donnie Hawkins, and Ralph Martin.
