Maryetta Combs, 68, of Putney, KY, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family,
She was born on Thursday, September 15, 1955 in Harlan to the late Isom and Delilah Ray Caudill. In addition to her parents, Maryetta was preceded in death by her sister, Izetta Wynn, and brothers, Boyd and Kainer Caudill.
Maryetta was a devoted wife of 50 years to her loving husband, Seldon Combs. She was a cherished mother to her children, April Combs (David, Jr) Childers and Duane (Alicia) Combs. Maryetta adored her grandchildren, Mackenzie Combs (Cody Miniard), Cayden Childers, and Teagan Combs, as well as her "adopted" grandchild, Katharine Cohelia. She is also survived by her brother, Isom (Virginia) Caudill, Jr, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Maryetta was a member of Lenarue Baptist Church where she sang in the church choir. She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, singing, and most of all, spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 26th, at the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Clem officiating.
Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, KY with family and friends serving as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be after 11:00 am until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home
