Mary Turner

Mary Louise Turner, 82 of Big Laurel passed away Monday Dec. 21, 2015 at the Harlan ARH.
Mrs. Turner was born Oct. 14, 1933 in Windover, KY to the late Benjiman and Susan Farler Adams. She was a homemaker and attended the Dollar Branch Church of Christ.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Turner.
She is survived by her children, Jerold (Violet) Turner of Big Laurel, J.C. Turner of Big Laurel, Roger Turner of Big Laurel, Jimmy (Tressie) Turner of Big Laurel, Johnny Turner of Gordon, Lisa (James) Vickrey of Big Laurel, Iva Boggs of Big Laurel, and Polly Asbury of LaFollette, TN; sisters, Shirley Miniard, Sina Huff, and Sarah Turner all of Big Laurel, and Rosalee Lewis of Harlan; 21 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild are left to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be after 1:00 pm Friday (Dec. 25) at the Little Laurel Bible Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday (Dec. 26) at the church with Minister Nathan Boggs and Rev. Eugene Harris officiating.
Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery on Greasy Creek with grandsons serving as Pallbearers.
