WALLINS-Martha Lou Goins, 67 of Wallins passed away Wednesday Nov. 26, 2014 at her home with family by her side.
Martha Lou was born Feb. 2, 1947 in Harlan KY to the late Steve and Martha York Thomas. She was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her 2 sons, Tommy Watts Goins and John Charles Goins; brothers, Steven Lee Thomas and James Walter Thomas; sister, Sarah McGuire.
She is survived by her faithful companion, Bill Jones; children, Ronnie (Nancy) Goins, Tim Goins, Chevelle Goins, Kathy (Angel) Berrios, Theresa Goins and friend, Larry Lawson, Laura (Greg) Hall, Roberta Jones, and Danna Leonard; brother, John Robert Thomas; sisters, Della (Jack) Hansel, Anna Bea (Jerry) Irvin, June, and Teresa; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends are left to mourn her passing.
Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 from 5 until 8:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Sunday, Nov. 30 in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Blevins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Happy Top with Austin Goins, Eric Stevens, Bobby McGuire, George Sams, Wesley Pillion, and Kevin Daniels serving as Pallbearers.
