Mark Anthony Nantz, 45 of LeJunior, KY. Passed away Sunday July, 5th. He was born to the late Donald and Marylnn (Hickson) Nantz on July, 27, 1974. Mark resided in Harlan county most of his life.
He was employed as Line Supervisor with SEKRI. He also did metal work, as well as carpentry, and welding.
Mark had a passion for the homeless and his community and would help with any needs that came about. He enjoyed music, playing it or listening to it as much as possible. He was a avid fisherman who loved all types of animals. He was a member of Harvest Worship Center.
Mark was proceeded in death by his father Donald Nantz .
He is survived by his mother, Marylnn (Jo) Owens; his wife, Kristie (Rodgers) Nantz; children, Courtney Nantz, Kyle Nantz, Morgan A. Nantz, Mark Pollilo, and Silas Nantz; step-children Will, Nate, and Jack Diamanti; Mark also leaves two grandchildren, Gizelle and Edith Nantz; his Sister, Michelle (Steve) Dykes and Father and Mother-in law, Van and Tommie Rodgers. As well as, a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home Saturday (July 11) at 11:00 am with Rev. Jesse Kinder and Rev. Roland (Bo) Lee officiating. Eulogy by Jason Mills.
Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens with Jason Mills, Jack Diamenti, Kyle Nantz, Nate Diamenti, Jack Hickson, and Will Diamenti serving as Pallbearers.
Visitation services will be held at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home Friday (July 10) from 6:00 pm - 8:00pm.
