Marilyn Saylor Key

    Marilyn Saylor Key, 59 of Evarts, KY passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the UK Good Samaritan Hospital following a brief illness. Marilyn was born Nov. 17, 1963 in Harlan to late Lige and Mable May Saylor. She was a homemaker and believed in the Church of God faith. 

    Marilyn was also preceded in death by her beloved brothers Freeman Saylor and David Saylor, and her sisters Linda Rowe and Trudy Davis; nephews Freeman Allen Saylor and Wayne Preston Craton, Jr.

    She is survived by her husband, Tom Key of Evarts, KY; sons, Tommy (Allison) Key of Harlan, KY and Bryan (Beth) Key of Harlan, KY; grandchildren who she loved dearly, Hayley Key and fiancé Chad Fleming, Riley Key, Elijah Key, Wyatt Key and Samuel Key; sister Sandra (Greg) Cozort of Harrodsburg, KY; and brother Dennis Saylor of Harlan; she leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. 

   Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Saturday August 19, 2023 at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

   Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

   All other services will be private.
