Luada Ruth Wynn, 73 of Dizney, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Luada was born on May 26, 1952 in Redbud, Kentucky to the late Pleas Steele and Sally Howard Steele. Luada was a lifelong resident of Harlan County and believed in the Baptist faith. She was a member of Brittians Creek Missionary Church. Luada was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and singing. Most of all, she loved her family. Over the years, Luada and her husband, Royce, have took many adults and children in who didn't have a home.
Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son, Ronald E. Wynn, her brother, Ray Steele, her daughter-in-law, Angela Hensley, her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ott Wynn, and her sisters-in-law, Von Steele and Virginia Wynn.
She is survived by her loving husband, Royce Wynn, they would've been married for 55 years on September 26. She is also survived by her children; Royce "P-Nut" (Becky) Wynn, Jr, Macky (Angie) Wynn, Tim (Jess) Wynn, and Angela (Zack) Wynn, her grandchildren; Tristen, Kaitlyn (Stephen), Hannah (Luke), Brooke, Carly, David Austin, Madalyn, Skylar (Alex) Howard, Jocie (Tim), Jase, Bradley (Olivia), Gabriel, and Paisley, her great-grandchildren; Jayce, Averie, and Nolan, her brothers; Bud (Jan) Steele, Butch (Darlene) Steele, and Perry Steele. She also leaves behind a host of many nieces and nephews who she loved like her own.
Visitation will be on Saturday (Sept. 13) from 6 to 9 pm and Sunday (Sept. 14) from 5 to 9 pm at Brittians Creek Missionary Church.
Funeral services will be on Monday (Sept. 15) at 1:00 pm at Brittians Creek Missionary Church with Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services on Monday (Sept. 15) in the Wynn Family Cemetery in Dizney, Kentucky. Serving as pallbearers will be Royce "P-Nut" Wynn, Jr Macky Wynn, Tim Wynn, Jason king, Heath Scissom, and Zack Austin.
