Larry Craig Collins

Larry Craig Collins, 71 of Stanfill, KY passed away on Wednesday afternoon of November 19, 2025 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Larry was born March 3, 1954 in Leslie Co., KY to the late Elhannon and Polly Simpson Collins. A lifelong resident of Harlan Co, Larry was a retired coal miner with over 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed working on cars and helping others especially his family.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sandra Kay Dillman Collins; son, Timothy Rodney Collins and his brother, Elvis Collins.

He is survived by his sons, Curtis (Tracy) Collins and Danny (Henrietta Farmer) Collins; grandchildren, James Collins, Heather Collins, Megan Collins Collier, Preston Collins, Draven Collins, Starla Collins and Harmony Hurley; great grandchildren, Kinsley Raine Collins, Anniston Sergent and Swayzie Collier; special friend, Jessica Inman and her family, Caitlynn Simpson, Amanda Simpson and Tiffany Inman, Madelynn, Carter, Draco and Aurora English; brothers, Lonnie Collins, Mike Collins and Wife Dede and Dean Collins and Wife Becky; Sisters, Oma Pace, Jean Simpson, Vickie Saylor and Husband Darrel, Linda Fee and Husband Clarence and Patty Irvin and Husband Archie; he also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday (Nov. 22) at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Sunday (Nov. 23) in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & jones Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Colinger officiating.

Burial will follow in the Harber Cemetery at Smith, KY where he will be laid to rest beside of his wife Sandra.
