Kyle Spurlock

Kyle Spurlock, 60 of Cranks passed away on Sunday Feb. 18, 2018 at his home.

Kyle was born in Cawood on Nov. 18, 1957 to Hart and Ruby Spurlock. He was a lifelong coal miner and believed in the Church of God faith.

Besides his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Spurlock.

He is survived by his loving mother, Ruby Spurlock; his wife of 34 years, Cathy Skidmore Spurlock; daughters, Brooke (Bobby) Rhea and Beth (Taylor) Hicks; sisters, Darlene (Don) Nix, Susan (Bill) Johnson, and Amy (David) McArthur; brothers, Hart (Donna) Spurlock, and James (Jeronica) Spurlock; grandchildren, Karsyn Rhea, Kaelyn Rhea, Riley Mills, Preslee Bracket, Meadow Saylor; 2 nieces he thought of as daughters, Brandi Herrell and Amber Creech, and his little buddy, Bryan Skidmore; mother-in-law, Eulalah Skidmore; he leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives who he loved very much.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday (Feb. 21) at 6:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Spencer Burkhart officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday (Feb. 21) after 4:00 pm until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
