Kenneth Leroy Webb

September 6, 1965 — October 5, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Leroy Webb, formerly of Cranks. A devoted father, brother, papaw, and friend, Kenny left this world on October 5, 2024, at the age of 59. Known for his unyielding work ethic and ability to master any task, Kenny was a true jack-of-all-trades who touched the lives of many with his generosity and love.

Born on September 6, 1965, Kenny grew up with a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to his family and friends. His tireless work ethic was a testament to his dedication, always ready to tackle new challenges, build something from scratch, or lend a hand to those in need. His knowledge and skills were a gift that he shared with everyone around him.

Above all, Kenny was a family man. His love for his children and his pride in being a papaw were unparalleled. His family was his pride and joy; he left them with memories of his laughter, wisdom, and unwavering love. Kenny spent many years working as a coal miner, dedicating his life to the complex, honest work that fueled communities and powered homes. He took great pride in his work, always carrying the deep-rooted values of resilience and determination from his years underground. Beyond the mines, he cherished the beauty of the eastern Kentucky mountains that surrounded him, finding peace in their quiet strength and comfort in their familiar landscapes. The hills weren't just home; they were a part of him, as steadfast and enduring as the man himself.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine Middleton Westbrook, brothers, Danny Webb and Bobby Webb, and a sister, Diania Collett.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Donna Webb, and his two sons, Dustin Webb and Harley of Bowling Green and Kenny Webb Jr. of Somerset. His sister Kathy (Mark) of Cranks. A special niece, Christy Ledford, and husband Vernon of Richmond. Four beloved grandchildren, Christine and Chole of Somerset, Jaxson of Bowling Green, and Danny of Somerset.

Though he has left this world, his spirit of hard work, loyalty, and love for his family will continue to inspire all who know him. His absence leaves a void in our community, and he will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm Sunday, October 13, 2024, until the funeral hour at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home, 114 S. 3rd Street, Harlan, KY 40831.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home. After the service, the burial will be at the family's private cemetery in Cranks, Ky.
