Kenneth "Kenny" William Green, 66 of Harlan passed away Friday July 3, 2026 at his home.

Kenny was born September 18, 1959 in Harlan to Barbara Holden Russell and the late Ernest "Bud" Green. He had worked as a coal miner and then went into construction work for most of his life.

Besides his father he is preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Gail Green Franks; his step father, Roland Russell.

He is survived by his daughters, Robyn Green and Scott Bottom, Shaunna Gastineau; grandchildren, Raistlin Neal and Tori Feathers, Haiden Bottom and Cameron Hawkins, and Amelia Bottom.

He leaves his brothers and sisters, Frankie Green & Stephanie, Randy Green, Jennifer Williams and John, Debbie Belcher and Billy, Cathy Green and Jack Lundy, and Crystal Russell. He leaves a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

In keeping with his wishes no services will be held at this time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
