Kathleen Stuart Povliches

Kathleen Stuart Povliches, 82 of Louisville, KY & Jeffersonville, IN passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning of October 29, 2025 at the home of her daughter in Harlan, KY.

Kathleen was born January 28, 1943 in Louisville, KY to the late John and Lucille Brown Hill. She had worked as an EMT, LPN and a homemaker She enjoyed painting, singing, camping and traveling. She had attended St. Paul Episcopal Church in Jeffersonville, IN and Center Ridge Pentecostal Church in Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Povliches.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Povliches of Harlan and John Povliches of Dauphin Island, AL; grandchildren, John, Grace and Michael; her sister, Harriot Davis of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, Bill & Richard Davis; She leaves other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

A memorial service is being planned at a later date in Jeffersonville, IN.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, IN.
