Juanita Jeanette Simpson Harber, 89 of Rose Hill, VA (most recently of Middlesboro, KY.) entered into the Kingdom of Heaven and presence of her Lord and Savior on April 14th, 2025 at Middleboro ARH Hospital.

Born in Wallins Creek, Kentucky to the late Curtis & Pauline (Calloway) Simpson; Juanita was a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved all of her family so much.

Along with her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband of 35 years, Charles “Bill” Harber; former spouse, Doug Rogers. Brothers: Curtis Simpson, Jr. & Johnny Simpson; sister Lavone (Roy) Tipton; special sisters-in-law Judy Simpson and Rose Simpson; granddaughter, Stephanie Hall; great-grandson, Jimmy Rosario.

Survived by daughters, Deborah Rogers Hall, Arlene and husband David Caldwell, and special step-daughter Kathy and husband Jay Martin. Granddaughters, Kelly and husband Jessie Elkins, Jaime and Jason Cantrell, and Jessica and Justin Helton; brothers, Ronnie Simpson and Hugh Simpson; sister, Betty Sue and husband Lee Shepard; and a host of beloved great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and special dog that she loved dearly, Miggy.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to those that provided her with excellent care at Middlesboro ARH Hospital, Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Facility, and special friend Gwen Reisinger.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at the Morgan Cemetery in Rose Hill, VA. with Lee Shepard and Rev Justin Helton officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 12PM for the service.
